The program serves as a platform for motivated and creative artists to pursue their own goals and advance personal vision through intense, focused and individual studio activity. The main goal is to help students to work independently in a distinctive and a professional manner. The course also gives an insight into new prospects of painting in a digital era on the basis of a reflective and critical attitude.

Candidates with a 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th std. or any other degree are eligible to apply for the program. There is no age limit for the candidates.

Dessin Academy was started at Children’s Castle, Thirumazhisai by Ms. D. Radhika in the year 2016.
Ms. D. Radhika, an M.Tech graduate worked in a reputed engineering college for a decade. With a passion to become an entrepreneur, she started Children’s Castle in the year 2015. She has a high passion for teaching and practising arts.
Ms D. Radhika worked in a reputed engineering college for a decade. With a passion to become an entrepreneur, she started Children`s Castle, an after-school activity centre for children. She is very passionate about teaching and drawing and painting. She displayed her work at Women Power Art Exhibition 2020, 2021 and 2023 organised by Dessin Academy. Her work was also displayed at the 6th National painting exhibition organised by Pondicherry Art Academy. She is grateful to Mr R. Rajendran of Dessin Academy for enhancing her skills.
